Ch-ch-ch-changes
The past two weeks have been a little crazy. First, I had my practice exam for ground school, and lets just say I have a lot more studying that I need to do. I only received a 38/100. And on some of the answers I got right, were just guesses. Not a good sign! I didn’t have as much time to study as some of the other people in the class, but I still should of done better than that.
Secondly, I’ve changed jobs – again. I hated having to leave my other job; I just felt terrible since my boss is such a great person, as well as most of the people I worked with. I’m still painting, but with my old boss. I have no idea how long this will last, it may just be temporary, but I’ll be getting a lot of hours in the upcoming months. So it was a bitter-sweet feeling.
I somehow managed to lose another 5lbs. I haven’t been exercising, nor really paying attention to what I’m eating, but I was happy to see that nonetheless! I’m going to go to yoga tomorrow night after work, and maybe see about dragging a friend along with me. I can’t wait!
Right now I’m just waiting for my friend to get off work so we can head to the beach. It’s such a gorgeous weekend! And going to be an awesome week, as well with temperatures averaging around 30C. Looooves it! <3

This post is for the lovely Brandi, since she reminded me I need to update. Haha.
We’ve been really lucky with the snow holding off, up until Friday, where we got hit with a snowstorm and went from having no snow to almost a foot of it. I was not happy to wake up Friday morning to see a blizzard outside. My car has really crappy tires, let alone snow tires so I wasn’t able to go to work (which would of been my last day since we are getting laid off). So now I have to go into work this weekend using my mom’s soccer mom van, to try and get the work done because if I don’t, it messes up next week for me!
Speaking of next week, I’m painting the house! Right now it’s this cranberry colour which we’ve had for years, but it doesn’t go well with the furniture at all. So I’m painting it this taupe-y brown colour. I told my parents I can do it in three days, including prep work. My dad says it will take me two weeks. I say, bring it on. So that’s why I can’t work next week because I need those three days to paint! And it needs to be done soon so we can finish decorating and putting up the tree.
I wish I could say I’ve done a lot more exciting things since my last post, but really, the last couple months haven’t been the greatest. A lot of things I depended on, aren’t there anymore, and things are just falling apart. I wish I could say this sadness was just from the weather changing, but it’s been going on for awhile. So really, I’ve just been trying to work on putting the pieces back together and feel normal again.
I think I’m going to get myself a cup of coffee, maybe have some breakfast, and head in to work to wash some beams. Exciting, right?

Girl’s night on Friday was pretty much awesome. It was just Alicia and I, but we had fun. Got caught up on all the small town gossip, watched Twilight (which I ended up falling asleep during. lol), baked cupcakes, ate pizza and drank… a lot.
Alicia had to work the next morning so I headed home early Saturday and spent the rest of the weekend getting caught up on all my shows. The only show I’m not caught up on his Gossip Girl, but the CTV website was giving me issues.
I need to update my gallery. I have many pics to go up, but too lazy to do it. Good ol’ procrastination.
Oh, and did I mention we had snow this morning? Yeah… SNOW! Not cool.
That’s what’s up
So I got on the scale today after a month of not weighing myself, scared that I had gained weight, and it turns out I lost another five pounds! Twenty-two in total. What, what! And last weekend I tried on a pair of pants I haven’t been able to wear since 2007 and they fit perfectly! Only 60 more pounds to go and I’m at my goal weight. YAY!
Last weekend I went to Mississauga for a surprise party for a dear friend of the family’s. It was an awesome night. Most of these people we only see once a year so it was good seeing them again. I think we were only planning to party until midnight, but it lasted until 2am.
I really need to wash my car – inside and out. I think I may do that today as it’s so beautiful and sunny out. It sucks that it’s not incredibly warm out though, and there’s still tons of snow on the ground… but I think I can manage. But first I have some web work to do…

After a long month without my site, I finally have it back! I was unable to make payments due to not having work.
Work: I started back about three weeks ago and love it. It’s still a little weird without my friend Jen working with us anymore, but my boss and I still have fun. We had a mini snowball fight the one day. I’m still not working full time yet, I’m averaging about 20hrs a week, but it’s something! And I love not feeling like a bum anymore.
Trip: I found out more info on my trip to Greece & Egypt! There will be about 8-9 of us going, and we will be leaving the Toronto airport at 10:10pm and arriving in Cairo at 1am their time (it’s going to be a 12 hour flight!). We will be going for about 3 weeks, 1 week will be spent in Egypt riding camels, seeing pyramids and taking a cruise on the Nile River. The rest of the time will be spent in Greece. I’m SO excited! And if you’re feeling extra generous, there’s a spot to donate on the right. Anything helps, and I will love you for forever! <3
Social Life: Last week was my birthday, the big two-three! I actually didn’t do anything for my birthday since I’m saving for my trip, but the night before we had family over for cake and tea because my dad’s birthday is the day before mine. I worked on my bday, and wore my birthday tiara to work.
Saturday I went to Orillia with some friends to see Friday The 13th. It wasn’t bad, but I didn’t find it scary at all. And way too predictable. Also, I wanted to punch all the teens in the beginning of the movie in the eye. Such fake acting.
And I guess that’s all that’s new with me… I know, not very interesting.
