“Told Ya So”

Category: Daily, Events, Site

Remember that bet that my dad and I had as to whether or not I could paint the house in 3 days? Well, I did it in two. My boss came by and helped me so we were just flying! And those two days included all the prep work! Soooo I got to tell my dad “told you so!”. I should of put money on it. Damn. Next time. But for now, here’s some before and afters. Just click the image to view full size.

My dad bought me winter tires last week since my car is so unsafe to drive in the snow with. The tires I had on were all seasons and I’ve had them for 2.5 years; they were so worn down that the dealership wouldn’t even give them back to me. lol. So I will have to get new ones in the spring. Anyway, I’ve also been having another issue with my car so we asked the dealership to check it out while doing the tires, and it turns out the problem was the wheel bearing on the driver’s side… and it’s bad. So we had to get a part for that, and I need new front breaks. Sooo until my dad fixes my car, I’m not allowed to drive it. Brand new tires, and I can’t even break them in!

I’ve decided not to put up a Christmas layout this year, mainly because I’ve been too lazy to make one. And I doubt I will update before Christmas, so I hope everyone has an awesome holiday!

Hmm not that I want you to drive on bad tires and die, but if you really wanted them back they shouldn’t be able to stop you. I always take my old ones for either a spare or just so I don’t have to pay to dump them. I do have the convenience of a dump truck though. So without that I probably wouldn’t take em. Either way hope you get your car fixed soon! Merry christmas!!

Woohoo! I’m so glad that you were able to prove your father wrong. That sucks that your car is undriveable at the moment. That would be really annoying. I hope it’s fixed soon! Merry Christmas. :D

Which photos are before and which are after? I actually like both the darker colours and the lighter ones.

What a great job you guys did! The rooms really look great. I personally love painting the inside of a house. It’s very relaxing and you always feel so accomplished after. Hope you had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year too!

Great paint job! I can’t believe you got that done in 3 days. I really need to go get snow tires too. The ones I have are bald and are not even seasonal so they are being terrible in the snow.
