Hey, Hey, I Guess It Hasn’t Hit Me Yet
On Wednesday I went to Massey Hall in Toronto to see Blue Rodeo. It was amazing! The seats were on the balcony, and I sat beside the cutest old man! I just wanted to squish him! He was just bopping away, enjoying every second of it. I wanted to keep him. Haha! We didn’t stay for the encore, so I have no idea what was played, but it was already almost midnight and we had a two hour drive home still ahead of us.
I managed to figure out my Employment Insurance mix-up, had my access code mailed to me yesterday, so I was able to finish my claim online and if all goes well, I should be receiving my money in a few weeks. Thank GOD because i’m broke as a joke. My part-time job is a huge help, but it’s just not enough. In the mean time, I’m still handing out resumes for some more part time work.
I’ve been wanting to get more into photographing people, and practice getting better at that since to me, it’s challenging and hard to do. The only problem, is I don’t have any one to pose for me here! I’ve tried asking my sister but she always has an excuse to not do it, so this past weekend, I posed for myself. LoL. Let me tell you, being the photographer AND model in snow is NOT easy, especially when it’s up to your knees. But here’s a few of the shots I got:
So I finally made a formspring account, so feel free to ask me anything!

I’m looking for a job too, good luck!!
I never heard of Blue Rodeo. I like those pictures of you in the snow. They’re pretty.
I think you’ve done a good job on the snow pictures! I especially like the composition of the first one
I know how hard it is to take pictures of yourself! But I think you did a good job. Good luck with finding some more work. I feel like I should try finding another job, but I already have two.
I saw those photos of you on Flickr and I lvoe them
My favorite is the black and white one.
Like Britney, I haven’t heard of Blue Rodeo =/

Wow those are beautiful! I am sure that must have been tough to be both the model and photographer but you did an awesome job!
Considering that you were the photographer and the model, those pictures came out really well!!
I LOVE that last one you got! Yea, I guess many people are embarrassed to pose but it’s really challenging having to do it yourself using the timer D:!
the photos turned out great. What type of camera do you use and any tips for someone whos just starting to get into photography
That must have been a great show!
The last photo is my favourite.
